Kyle

Meet adorable little Kyle.  I got to do his very first ever photo shoot a couple of Saturdays ago.  Do you remember these maternity pictures from a few months ago?  The fact that I did his mom's maternity pictures and then to see him now in the flesh was so special.  He was such a good sport and it was fun doing this shoot.

Julie's 1st Birthday

This is my adorable niece, Julie, that I got to take pictures of for her first birthday that's coming up next month.

My sister-in-law, Jen, came up with the idea for the balloon basket.  Isn't it just adorable?  Not as adorable as this little girl is though.

Portraits of a 17 Year Old

While home for the holidays I took some pictures of my younger brother, Henrik.  He'll be leaving on  a 2 year mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in a couple of months and we wanted to document this time in his life.

He's an incredible kid and I've always loved having him as a kid brother.  I know he'll do great on his mission and I'm so proud of him for making this huge decision and sacrifice.

Jill's Maternity

A couple of weekends ago I had the privilege of doing another maternity photo shoot.  This time the husband came along which added a fun element.  Jill came prepared with lots of props and ideas that were really creative and fun.

I've known Jill for a few years now and I think so highly of her.  I know she and her husband, Jeff, will be incredible parents and I'm so excited for them and this new chapter in their lives.

Sarah's Maternity

Yesterday I got to do my first official maternity photo shoot!  It was with Sarah who is 7 months pregnant with her and her husband's first child, a girl.  I know her from church and I'm so happy I've become friends with her.  She's pint size but is full of personality, and she's so friendly and sweet.

This shoot was interesting because Sarah is a photographer herself.  It was a bit nerve wracking having someone professional on the other side of the camera, but also nice because I didn't have to guide her very much.  She knew lots of poses and had lots of ideas and it was so fun. :)

You can see lots more on my facebook page.
